March 20 – 28, 2010. Oakville, Iowa Bill Charron to lead. Cost $150.
Travel by van. We will stay in motels, mid-trip, both going and returning from Iowa, but WE AGAIN WILL STAY IN PRIVATE HOMES IN MEDIAPOLIS! Work willl involve 'buildout' of Oakville Foundation homes. A dozen vacancies.
April 17 – 25, 2010 Houma, Louisiana. Cost $250.
We will return to the Bayou country of southwest LA. to continue the storm surge recovery of the shrimp farmers and fisher-people of this area. We will stay in a PDA tent city, prepare our own meals, and work with the welcoming and warmhearted people of the Bayous. Travel by bus. Stay overnight in Tennessee both ways. If we do not have 30 people signed on by Friday, April 2, the trip will be cancelled.
May 15 – 23, 2010 Oakville, Iowa. Bill Charron to lead. Cost $150.
We will again be "Mediapolized", staying in private homes. Travel by van. Limited to 16 volunteers
