HARRISBURG FLOODING RESPONSE

Tuesday, February 7 — George Elliott will lead agroup to 3604 N. 2nd St, Harrisburg. Lend A Hand mucked out this basement some time ago and it needs some more work. We need to take down a room of paneling and cut it into disposable sized peices, remove some drywall and some possible sanitizing. The work is not likely to take an entire day. A church in western PA is raising money to pay for the rebuilding of this basement and will be coming in the spring to do the work. If you wish to be part of this team, please call George at 443-0020.

Wednesday, February 8 & Friday, February 10 — Jim Davis and Pete Feil will be working at the Gaudette property in Hummelstown. Please join them if your schedule allows. Directions: Take the Hummelstown exit off of route 322 and head into town. Go straight thru the square, under a railroad bridge, over a bridge on the Swatara Creek and take an immediate left on Hoernerston Road. Go about a half mile to a three story stone & aluminum sided building on the left with a large carpeted playing field beside it.
