  11. making sure that your Work Team’s cooler has water & ice in it each morning

Schedule

 

August 8 – 14 Nashville, Tennessee. Cost $150. George Elliott to lead.  7 current vacancies. Travel by van, one day each way.  Stay in a church, bunk rooms, four to a room, personal bedding required.  Showers and dining hall are on premises.  Help restore over 3,600 homes flooded earlier this year.  No muck out.  We will do reconstruction of damaged homes.

September 11 – 19 Oakville, Iowa. Cost $150. Travel by van. Limited to 16. Continue reconstruction of homes damaged by flooding.

September 18 – 25 Leogane, Haiti. Cost $1000. Build homes under the sponsorship of Fuller Housing.

September 18 – 26. NEW, FINAL DATES. Oakville, Iowa. Cost is $150. 11 VACANCIES FOR THIS TRIP. Bill Charron to lead. Travel by vans, stay in motels both ways. Stay in private homes in Mediapolis. Do reconstruction work on several homes.

October 3 – 9. Nashville, Tennessee. Cost is $150. 15 vacancies exist for this trip. George Elliott to lead. Travel by van.

October 23 – 30 Pierre Payen, Haiti. Cost $1000. A medical team will be sent. We are seeking 2 general surgeons to augment the anesthesiologist, surgeons and nurses already signed on.

November 6 – 14 Oakville, Iowa. Cost $150. 15 vacancies exist for this trip.  George Elliott to lead.  Travel by van.

NO TRIPS ARE SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER.

January 8 – 16 Immokalee, Florida. Cost $250. Our annual college student trip. George Elliott to lead.  Students from Elizabethtown and Shippensburg  signing on.  Limited to a total of 54.  Space is available for about 12 – 15 LAH volunteers.  Travel by bus and van.  Stay overnight both ways in South Carolina. We will stay in a retreat center, bunk beds, bedding required.  Showers and dining facilities on site.  We will do reconstruction of hurricane damaged homes.  Town is 70% Hispanic, 20% Black, 1% Native American.   Click here for more information.
